Today I was reviewing some data for a project where for some odd reason there was a huge spike in growth recently. Literally it was generating over 1000% the normal traffic volume. I considered this one a baby project too. Because the numbers aren\u2019t usually that high I was often more sensitive when you see things like a loss of some sort where you then wonder why that happened and how to make it back. But recently with this surge it was interesting as while there were losses as expected due to the new types of traffic that was coming in the growth outweighed the loss so much that it doesn\u2019t feel like much.<\/p>\n
I guess it\u2019s like saying if you only had one dollar losing even a penny is a big deal. But if you had $1000 then losing a penny may not be as relevant as you are continually gaining $1000 each day per se. While you should still try to determine how to maximum your end results of course it\u2019s an interesting thought where at times maybe we are focused way too much in trying to keep things the same as is. Instead maybe focusing more on how to actually grow more would be better as having some kind of loss is inevitable.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s like a company too where if you don\u2019t actually focus on ways to grow bigger even the slightest loss or hiccup can make you go into frantic mode. I guess finance can be the same thing. I am definitely one to say you should save money of course. But I still believe you should focus in finding ways to generate more streams of income so that you are ready for unexpected losses or changes in life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
