This was such a fascinating statement I heard recently where there were a bunch of stories on how all these millionaires have reached their goals after much hardship like most entrepreneurs. But there was one story that was interesting where the person was saying how he was essentially faking it until he made it. He apparently was thousands of dollars in debt yet he was portraying himself as a big time producer of sort to attract talent. Long story short he did eventually find some huge talent which in turn made him a millionaire.<\/p>\n
One thing that he was taught at a young age was that while most people teach you as a child to be honest and that dishonest people never succeed he was essentially told the hard cold truth that dishonest people are successful in business as well. However, the other topic of actually being happy in life and all was a different matter of course. With that it seemed like to him he understood the game and image he had to portray in order to get to the top.<\/p>\n
To my understanding this gave him the mindset that while he may lie a lot it\u2019s not like he is specifically dong something harmful such as robbing a bank or physically harming others. Therefore, he treated everything as simply the means to get to where he needs to be so that he doesn\u2019t have to do that anymore. Again, to me this is interesting to think about even for those who try to do things the honest way.<\/p>\n
Many times they say the nice guy finishes last in business where it\u2019s not uncommon that the reason for that is we tend to believe the \u201cgood guys\u201d always win. That\u2019s just not true as the \u201cbad guys\u201d win plenty of times. By not recognizing that even dishonest people are successful in these situations I feel would put you in a disadvantage where you are more prone to being taken advantage of or not recognizing that the other is not playing by the book per se. Always better to go out with what the true reality is in the real world so that you can better adapt to it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
