I can usually find a ton of great deals on groceries where many times it\u2019s just about the willingness to shop at various places as opposed to one for convenience. Today when visiting one place they had these fantastic deals that seem too good to be true. For example, things like a large watermelon for a dollar. I had to check it out of course. Upon inspecting it though the watermelon didn\u2019t feel firm but rather kind of squishy. So that made me think it wasn\u2019t good.<\/p>\n
Would you actually buy food related items like this because the price is so cheap you figure there is not much to lose? People often do this with other items like say a no name piece of electronic. But for food I have actually only seen people do this for things like candy as opposed to everyday grocery items. Is it just the mindset that fresh groceries that are bad could end up harming you versus something like a questionable piece of candy would just taste bad?<\/p>\n
In some ways I would think like with the watermelon maybe it just won\u2019t taste as good but still be sort of good for a dollar routine.
