This was an interesting thought as I was talking to a person who was saying that he kind of regrets selling some of his past work because these days he would want the ability to do other things with it. The reason he sold it in the first place was for a common reason where when you are starting out and someone offers you say millions of dollars I am pretty sure most people would say yes. But once you are in a good financial position looking back many people feel they shouldn\u2019t have sold their work.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s kind of tricky because hypothetically if the person didn\u2019t sell it, which is the reason they are in a good position now, what guarantee would there be that they would be where they are at today? Then again there are plenty examples of businesses that turned down millions only to make billions after. I know for me I guess it would come down to if I started that business purely for money or if it was a huge passion of mine.<\/p>\n
For example, if I just started selling bottled water just to make extra money and for reason someone wanted to buy my operations of it then that would make sense in many ways to sell it for the right price. If it was creating some kind of business for the sake of a local community then that is different as I would still want some kind of control. People often say you will regret just taking huge offers too fast where that is true in many ways.<\/p>\n
That usually comes down to fear that you can\u2019t make another hit of sort. I did hear a person say before too that you need to trust yourself that you can keep producing even more great stuff as opposed to just one. AS well, I would think if you sold it to someone who you know would take good care of the property then that would be a good win-win situation too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
