I didn’t plan to buy anything today as I didn’t need anything and sales wise over the years Black Friday seemed to have better deals. The only deal I was actually considering before was how I could have gotten a free Pixel 7 phone by simply renewing my contract for two years and some places like Best Buy even offered an additional $100 gift card. Sounded like a win-win right? I didn’t end up getting it though but a lot of people did.
With that said, today on Boxing Day there appeared to be an even better deal where you could now get the recent Pixel 8 phone for free instead. I was reading how so many people were disappointed that they just signed a two year deal with the previous offer. It’s a risk either way where it could have been the other way around where today there would be no deal as good as Black Friday.
I guess for myself It was an example how I didn’t really need it so no harm in holding off until something better comes along.
