Ignoring Black Friday Sales As A Business For Consistency or Not

I was thinking of getting a new backpack where one seemed interesting and would require about a $300 investment. With black Friday coming though, I figured it be good to wait. However, this was a smaller company versus a large corporation and based on history it seemed like they have ignored having any big sales and instead opted to have consistent prices throughout the year. It seems like it is working well for them too.

It’s always neat to see companies go against the norm in these ways as most people would probably say you are killing yourself by not taking advantage of the buying frenzy of occasions like those. But then again, a lot o those other companies probably charge way higher for their items during regular days to enable them to offer those deeper discounts. But there is a factor of purchasing power too as big companies can purchase and sell more. So that is a disadvantage to not jump into the big sales day events as a company can sell more and make more with more exposure.

But if it works I guess it can be like a farm as some people just want to make comfortable living as they just grow and sell enough to do so consistently.
