This was funny I thought as when it comes to meeting new people for personal or business reasons there are multimillion dollar companies that make a lot of money trying to introduce people to each other who may or may not match their preferences. Some would argue it’s a waste of time as you should just meet people from referrals or everyday life. The everyday life part was interesting to think about as today I actually just met a bunch of people who happened to play the same game as I did.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and it was already pre-qualified where these people already share a similar interest. So, it was easy to generate conversation and to learn about one another. Of course, it costed zero dollars too to meet these people and you can probably do the same through other similar means. Some people literally do spend thousands on say networking apps to do pretty much the same thing. Many times, the people you need to meet are literally right in-front of you participating in the same activities and routines as you do.
Doesn’t have to be that complicated and it just seems too simple huh? It’s probably due to everyone being so used to social media and not actually meeting or talking to people in-person. A skill and habit that was so common in the past is something that people need to re-learn I suppose…
