There is just do much news about the potential of World War three recently to the point where many people are actually just putting life on hold as they don’t see the point in say just making money if the world is going into battle as you better focus on being able to self-sustain yourself during hard times. Makes sense of course as history has taught us how hard those times could be. But at the same time, what if it is like the previous years where the world doesn’t get involved as the battle is isolated between two countries? I could see there on how deciding not to work for two whole months will probably have a great effect on one’s finances.
I think you have to just treat it as a possibly in the same vein as a natural disaster. You can prepare for it such as adequately stocking up with supplies, but I don’t think you should put your life on hold indefinitely over the per se. It would be in some ways no different than a person spending literally all their money and doing the craziest things in one day because they assume they will be dead tomorrow. When they realize the world is still the same they now are in a bad position.
Do things rationally not emotionally as they say. Life balance is the key too where you should be enjoying life in general each day. If you are not, then you shouldn’t wait for like some world war to try and develop a balanced lifestyle.
