Artificial Photos To Portray An Image

I was reading how in the UK it was Mother’s Day recently and Kate Middleton had a photo released with her children as it was supposed to show the Princess of Wales celebrating the day with her family. However, apparently the photo was digitally edited as many people took notice of all the inaccuracies that is akin to people who just started using photoshop as an example. Afterwards it was indeed confirmed to be an edited image and an apology was given.

That makes me think of the topic on whether or not you should use fake and highly say glamorized photos for your business as on paper it should give you the perception of being professional and successful right? If you think about it, business commercials do it all the time such as food products that are literally created to look good on camera but don’t often resemble what it actually looks like when you go to the restaurant.

When it comes to being personable nowadays though, I am inclined to say just taking like a non professional and unfiltered photo in this instance would probably work better versus the mentality that everything has to look perfect as if it is some of advertisement. That’s partly due to seeing more tension between say someone who is “wealthy” versus people who live an ordinary life. That’s kind of back to the basics where people like doing business with people that they can relate to and trust. If anything, I often find people suggesting that you have to always look like a millionaire of sort is because they have services to try and make people look their best per se. That could be in the form of expensive photoshoots or PR campaigns.

I am inclined to say that people see right through these types of acts nowadays too which is why just seeing people being normal in these cases is actually more surprising and effective in gaining trust.
