I was thinking as this is about the time where many people start to plan for vacations. Of course, that usually means using a lot of money as everyone wants to visit specific places. I noticed recently though that more people are planning their vacations based on the deals that they find. In many ways it’s like how frugal people base their meals around what’s on sale versus only buying what they want.
Earlier this year I saw a pricing error which an airline honored for example where it was like $99 for a round-trip to a place in the US. Like that it would sure seem financially appealing to base your vacation around that deal, assuming that you have no objections with the area. If you think about it too, you can probably travel to more places as a result of basing your trips on deals like these. Being frugal can mean getting more.
