Funny thing today as I saw an advertisement online for Mcdonalds where it was advertising some kind of meal deal for $9.99. It had like four burgers, four small fries and a serving of nuggets it seemed. The price was so much cheaper compared to what I see here that it made wonder how that can be. The usual answer is quality as many people say the ingredients used here are of higher quality and hence the price difference.
I was thinking too, no wonder why so many people eat out down there as those prices probably seem super convenient financially speaking. Although, I am pretty sure making your own stuff is still cheaper. Seeing it extremely cheaper elsewhere would make me less inclined to make a purchase. Maybe that’s the key to saving money in these cases where all you need to do is look at how much it seems like you are overpaying and it will convince you to save your money. In these situations, one’s health is probably not a good enough motivator to get people to save whereas seeing others gain probably would be. So maybe seeing what other countries pay for various items is not a bad idea from time to time.
