Arriving On The Dot

Today I received a delivery from an online order and at first I thought it wasn’t going to arrive as it was already the late evening. However, they did express that it could arrive in the time frame of 8am to 7pm. Funny enough, it literally arrived at like 6:59pm and that kind of impressed me even though you would think delivering early would be more noteworthy.

Makes you wonder where if you are trying to make an impression on whether or not like in this case waiting for the last minute to deliver the service would give you more notoriety and ultimately more advertising for your business. I suppose a big reason for it too is because in a way you expect the company to fail its promises when the deadline gets so tight. So it feels like your expectation was exceeded as a result. That’s always a good thing.
